Overview

Cheongdam‑dong, the seat of wealth and prestige in Korean high society, is shaken to its core by a scandal. A woman desperate to conceive discovers she is being deceived by her husband, his mother, and his sister. At the same time, she befriends a building designer whose mother was thought dead—only to realize he is the very boy she once saved as a child. Unbeknownst to her, her birth mother, who lost her to a kidnapping as a baby and is now married to a businessman, is searching for her. That mother's daughter, consumed by jealousy, sees her as a rival for the love of her life.
